ADVISORY, Aug 31, 2008 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- Pascagoula (Ingalls) facility only

Production work at Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding's Pascagoula facility is suspended until Monday morning, Sept 8. Production workers should not report to work until Monday Sept. 8 for normal shifts.

Maintenance and Facilities Alpha Recovery team members only should report to the stacking hall on Tuesday Sept. 2 at 6:00 am.

All other Alpha Recovery team members, office personnel and craft management are to report to work Wednesday, Sept. 3 for their regular shift. In addition, other employees may be contacted directly by their supervisor to support recovery activities.

New Orleans facility only

Gulfport, Mississippi facility

Production work at Northrop Grumman Shipbuilding's Gulfport facility is suspended Tuesday, Sept. 2, through Friday, Sept. 5. Alpha recovery team members, who have previously been designated, should report to work Tuesday, Sept. 2 at 7 a.m. if authorities deem it safe to travel in Harrison County. Bravo team members should report to work Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.

Unless otherwise notified, all employees should report back to work on Monday, Sept. 8.
