Members of the electronic and print media are invited to Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE: NOC) facility in Palmdale, California, to cover a gathering of the extended B-2 "family" as they celebrate the 25th anniversary of first flight of the U.S. Air Force's B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. First flight occurred on July 17, 1989. |

Ceremony will be set against a backdrop of an operational B-2 bomber, and will feature inspirational B-2 activities, including a special appearance by the B-2 Stealth Bike designed and produced by Orange County Choppers, and a static display of the N-9MB aircraft, one of the predecessor aircraft for the B-2. B-roll will also be provided.
Speakers at the event will include Bruce Hinds, who co-piloted the first B-2 flight, and Brig. Gen. Steven Basham, the co-pilot for the first B-2 combat mission. |
