The new facility will accommodate the company's growing cyber workforce of nearly 100 employees, with room for future expansion, and will provide a state-of-the-art collaborative environment for demonstrating and developing advanced cyber technology solutions. The focus will be on developing capabilities in big data and smart data analytics, network defence, secure mobility, biometrics, high speed processing and full spectrum cyber. Part of the facility will include the company's Advanced Cyber Technology Centre, a global collaboration initiative announced in November 2014 to advance high-end cyber solutions.

"We are committed to continuing to build a sovereign U.K. cyber workforce that is able to deliver innovations to help protect our customers against the increasingly sophisticated cyber threat environment," said Kathy Warden, corporate vice president and president, Northrop Grumman Information Systems.
