The award recognized Northrop Grumman for its long term commitment to SHPE's mission and goals, efforts to enhance the achievements of Hispanics in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), and its partnerships with public schools.

Tarik Reyes, vice president of business development, Northrop Grumman Information Systems, accepts the SHPE Company of the Year award from Rodrigo Garcia, a member of SHPE board of directors.
