MCLEAN, Va., Nov. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE: NOC) Information Systems sector held its annual Supplier Recognition Program Nov. 6 in McLean, and Supplier Excellence awards were presented to 26 companies recognizing their unique contributions to Northrop Grumman and its customers.
The Supplier Recognition Program recognizes suppliers that continuously provide outstanding support to Northrop Grumman and its Information Systems sector. Information Systems had more than 3,000 suppliers eligible for the award this year. All were evaluated based on five categories: schedule, management, technical, financial and quality.
In recognizing the recipients, Kathy Warden, corporate vice president and president of Northrop Grumman Information Systems, said, "Northrop Grumman is truly grateful for the significant contributions that each of these suppliers has made to ensure the success of our programs and our customers' missions."
