What:

Northrop Grumman is celebrating the 23^rd anniversary of its "America Day," a celebration of our nation's birthday combined with an employee appreciation event, at its Rolling Meadows, Illinois, facility.

As part of the annual celebration, military personnel and local elected officials will attend and address company employees. Honored guests and speakers will include the Honorable Heidi Shyu, assistant secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology; Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth, Illinois' 8^th District; and Capt. Paul Overstreet, U.S. Navy director for Program Control for the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35). The event will culminate with a barbecue-style cookout accompanied by live patriotic music.

Media must arrive no later than 10:45 a.m.

Where:

600 Hicks Road, Rolling Meadows, Ill. 

Members of the press are asked to enter via Security Post 6, the main entrance at the front of the building. U.S. citizenship is required.
