Northrop Grumman Wins U.S. Navy Knowledge Management and Process Support Contract for Integrated Logistics Services

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., Oct. 15, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) subsidiary AMSEC LLC has been awarded a task order under the U.S. Navy seaport enhanced contract for logistics knowledge management and process support for Integrated Logistics Services. The services are for hull, mechanical and electrical (HM&E) technical data development, maintenance and management subject matters.

The five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, cost plus fixed fee contract has a potential value of $18.7 million if fully funded and all options are exercised.

Northrop Grumman's portion of the work will be performed primarily at their AMSEC locations in Newport News, Va., and Philadelphia, Pa. The work is expected to be completed by September 2014. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
